Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Widespread Destruction

Homeowners observed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7cm in particular locations. Meteorological experts verified that multiple regions across the state had been hit with substantial ice precipitation.

Moist weather were forecast to persist along significant areas of eastern Queensland this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the wettest day, with persistent severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both areas.

Public health experts alerted that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, particularly given the current weather patterns.
